Website update

Just a quickie to mention that the new website will be up and running in the next few days. There are a few pages yet to be completed but its nearly all there! I was hoping to link the project pages to this blog for regular updates, in fact, the pages would be in the form of separate blog pages, or so I thought. I am not entirely sure its possible but I am still checking it all out... whatever the outcome check out www.restoshop.com soon!

A Pasta dish best served Pimp'd

Here we have a tasty treat for Passat lovers. Its the ultimate Grandad Wagon. Its also Ade's new project. The latest bargain buy in the Cartay mobile empire is a 'basic' C model Passat Variant. Its a little "crusty around the rear arches" but otherwise clean and sound.

Due for some restoshop TLC in the form of some TT rims (courtesy of some special restoshop drilled hubs), some recaros, an altitude adjustment of some description and a little tidy-up.

Watch this space...

Peanut update

'The Peanut', Shane's 1975 Passat project ride, has now got a funky new steering wheel. This NOS beauty was originally for a 70's Audi 80 GT, but was also used on the Passat TS (but with a Wolfsburg hornpush). It is brown and as retro as all hell, which will be right at home on the 'nut!

Shane also moved the Passat to a new temporary home in the borough-of-Petay during the week, in order to get some of the welding it needs done. Hopefully the project will kick off in a big way and be kroozin the streets real soon. Keep peeled for more pics of The Peanut soon.

Blluuuurrrrgh!

Well, a slightly messy, but enjoyable, Christmas was had by all, and we hope you did too. (Enjoyable – not neccasarily messy – although they can go hand-in-hand!).

The new site is well on it's way. You can see a cheeky snippet below. Its mostly new, but it retains elements of the old style. Hopefully the feedback will be as positive as the first incarnation!

Keep it real...
